We have expert groups and committees that collaborate to achieve research safety and security. These groups include:

• 

  Institutional Biosafety Committee

  On behalf of Macquarie University, the IBC co-ordinates compliance with the relevant legislation and standards associated with working, handling and disposing of pathogenic and genetically modified organisms, biohazardous materials and materials requiring quarantine containment.

  Export Controls

  The Defence Trade Controls Act 2012 protects the national interest by preventing sensitive goods and technologies from falling into the wrong hands. Learn how we are compliant.
